A wards are like a pat on the back, they not only give recognition to one’s work but also encourageme to work harder. Recently one such award ceremony was organized by Hindware Archi Design to celebrate the success of the architects, engineers and other construction community in ladscaping the country into a centre for modern, technology driven manufacturing and services centre in the world.

The jury comprised Rohit Suri, international Fashion Photographer, Dr Anoop Srivastava, Commissioner, Ajay Bhambi, Astrologer, D.R. Dhariwa, President, Grasim Industries and Bharti Taneja of beauty institute Alps.

Vijay Soni, President, Council of Architects, said “Indians will now go out and conquer the world as they have proven that they are second to none when it comes to ideas, creativity and implementation”.

Arindam Chaudhuri, who was also the guest of honour, expressed his confidence and said “out of the box thinking is paying rich dividends to the creativity community”

‘The structural Engineer of the Year’ went to Mahesh Tondon, internationally renowned structural profession and the ‘Architect of The year Award’ went to architect Shirish R. Beri of Kolhapur. Hafeez Contractor wazs named the “Architect of the Decade”

In the Critic’s award category, award for ‘The Best Advertising Campaign-Print Media’ went to Sepia Advertising Pvt. Ltd. ‘Award for Best Written Book’ went to Ar. Yatin Pandya.

An interesting and unique aspect of these Awards was that it identified, acknowledged and rewarded the effort of all those professionals, not necessarily architects or engineers, who promoted the cause of architects and builders, be they in media or environmentalists or academia.
